Mid-Year Update

Mid-Year Update

August 11, 2022

It is hard to believe that we are already half-way through 2022.

This has been a really exciting period for me, planning the building of my new home and studio, with the move scheduled for a little later in the year.

In addition to commissioned paintings, I have also completed three new landscapes. I'd love you to take a look at them and offer some feedback.  All three paintings are NZ landscapes.

Craig S Primrose QSM - Going Solo

Going Solo

This is a study of horse and rider showing the riders skill and control. To add to the drama of the painting I included a fiery red sky behind both subjects and have deliberately kept the painting very simple.

Craig S Primrose QSM - The Horseman's Track

The Horseman’s Track

This is really a study of the three horses showing their display of agility and sure footing on a very steep track.

Craig S Primrose QSM - The Muster

The Muster

There is quite a story happening in this painting from thunderous clouds rolling in, horseman and cattle making way in the water crossing and two old stubborn bulls refusing to move on.

All paintings are currently unframed and will be offered for sale. Please contact me directly for further information.

Thanks - CP
